HEAL
Facilitator Training Program
for
Equine-Facilitated Learning (EFL)
with Kathleen Barry Ingram, MA
& Leigh Shambo, MSW
A program for counselors, teachers,
and coaches (including equestrian professionals) who
are looking for practical training and experience
for developing Equine Facilitated Learning programs.
The FTP consists of 2
weeks (6 days each) of on-site instruction as well
as individual and group study assignments which will
help prepare students to facilitate horse activities
in a way that optimizes relational ability,
emotional well-being, and empowerment.
Upon fulfillment of
graduation requirements students will be provided
with an individual, strength-based evaluation and a
certificate of program completion. Students will be
able to list themselves as graduates of the HEAL
Facilitator Training Program for Equine-Facilitated
Learning. Prerequisite is a 3-day workshop
with HEAL, Epona or Kathleen Ingram.

Cancellation Policy:
If a schedule change is requested more than 30 days in
advance of a session, the deposit will be transferred to
another date less a $50 processing fee. Within 14 days of
the scheduled date the deposit becomes non-refundable, with
exceptions made for travel conditions or medical emergencies
(in which case the deposit will be applied to a rescheduled
date). If a program or reserved date is cancelled by HEAL,
any deposits paid will be refunded in full.
